Phoenix
Book Review:

In a story that combines repressed memories after a violent attack, paranormal elements that are aiding in the memory repression, and multiple past lives dating back to the days of Atlantis, Milly Lee has crafted a page-turning story with plot twists that are always surprising and never expected.

The story then takes multiple turns, as memories are regained someone or something is fighting to keep them buried, and Maggie must fight to both regain the memories and stay out of danger.  With thousands of years of memories forgotten and hidden, in a unique twist on the soul traveling lifetimes for answers, finding them may just end this incarnation.  A gripping and fast-paced story with a main character that encourages empathy and displays tremendous strength and determination in the face of challenge, it was easy to get lost in the emotions, tension and uncertainty as the story progressed.  You will need to know what the next memory will be, and just who or what will try to halt Maggie’s progress.

Blurb:

ARISE FROM THE ASHES AND BE REBORN.
I AM PHOENIX; MAGGIE PHOENIX; BORN OF THE GODS OF ATLANTIS.
MEMORIES OF MY PAST; I HAVE NONE.
SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH BEHIND MY BEST FRIEND’S MURDER, HIDDEN SECRETS WILL SOON ARISE.
WITH THE HELP OF HYPNOSIS, I START TO REMEMBER; I HAVE LIVED MANY LIVES, BUT THOSE LIVES ARE BURIED DEEP AND FORGOTTEN.
REMEMBERING THE PAST IS TO MAKE WAY FOR THE FUTURE AND THERE IS NO FUTURE WITHOUT THE PAST.
SOME MEMORIES ARE BETTER LEFT FORGOTTEN…

I give I Am Phoenix 5 out of 5 Bullets!
